hey babes
this week I'm transitioning some of my summer clothes to work in colder weather (this is my 5th month living out of a suitcase! I'm so damn exited to officially move to NYC in January. But in the meantime I'm having fun reworking outfits)
One fool proof and easy way to stay warm in winter and transition ripped jeans into the colder months is to pop on some leggings underneath. I love these sheertex ones because they actually keep me really warm (they might be somewhat thermal?) and they literally DO NOT rip. I also cuffed the pant leg so where usually there's that scandalously exposed two inches of ankle skin, all the public can see are my sustainably made leggings.
I've also been tucking my chunky knit sweater into my bra in order to give more of a silhouette to this otherwise slouchy outfit. If its super cold I skip this and layer a long sleeve turtleneck underneath.
let me know what your ideas are on transitioning certain clothes from one season to another!
sweater: Topshop
fisherman hat: la Caravane Vintage
